I ve been to the US three times, states i ve been are Michigan, Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming. Jump to my trip in the southwest-US by cycle somewhen in the mid 90s. Map of all trips in Canada/USA

Cities i ve been in the US are New York, Washington, Jackson Hole, Seattle, Gallup, Albuquerqui

Michigan: First time i staied in the US was during a school exchange programm in the late 80s of the last century, i got old allready....we had a good time there, with our families and sometimes in the Arts Acadamy not far from Traverse city. In Michigan you find many woods, lakes and creeks, a very beautiful state even with a shore line along lake Michigan, with sand beaches. Its a rural state as well with farms settled within the hills, along the creeks and lakes.
The first week of that trip we travelled in a bus along the east coast and visited New York, Washington, Philadelphia, Detroid, Niagara falls, and others all within one week, which was a little bid much for the most of us.

My second trip to the US was in the mid 90s, i travelled from Canada to the USA...

The third trip to the US was as well in the late 90s, i wanted to visit the great Indian reservationes in the southwest by cycle, started in Albuquerqui, visited some Pueblos along the Rio Grande and moved north west to the big Navajo reservation, sometimes i was hitch hiking along the way and some people with pick ups took me and my cycle with them. Visited the Canyon du Chelly, a very impressive sight, where Indians are still living in a kind of traditional way with horses, a nice Indian guy took me around there for 1 day.
The long endless, straight roads in semideserted areas during summertime had a bad effect on me and after some days i quit my trip, went back to New York by Greyhound bus from Gallup where i found a huge store for Indian crafts and bought my mum some rings and ear rings made of turkoise.

    - HAWAAI gets a new native_constitution (secctarian) as an Pacific island ($3) and as

Savety: the US is a wild country from my experience, they do wars and invade other countries, but you can find your freedom there as well, you can do what you want but rule of law prevails supreme.....but you ve to be careful because the stronger and fitter will win over you and take his advantage, thats part of the system and rule of the game.
The country iteself is very developed and most sophisticated they do touch screen voting in some states what caused some failor in the regiones they did so and when you enter or even before you enter the US you are forced to pass some security measures nowadays, these are measures to avoid terrorism in the homeland of Kapitalism and so you may get treated as a potential criminal what is strange if you enter a land which keeps itself as the land of freedom, human rights and unlimited possibilities. Some statistics say that the biggest danger is coming from some right wing extremists within the country now and less from outside.
People are mostly friendly, open minded and very open for all kind of new developments, even the older aged ones have no problems to adjust to the modern digital times.
In general it depends where you are, if in some very populated or remote area, some once dangerouse rural areas as Harlem got more secure and property prizes raised there over the last years.

Health: public health care system got advanced the last months, it all depends if you are insured while travelling the US , in case your e not insured it could become very costly for you in case you need some hospital or physical treatment.
I once had to get to the hospital lacking power after 2 days on the bus by only having fast food, so i was lucky because i had a travel insurance, they pumped me up with some very powerful fluids by injection and i did 60 km the same day on cycle from Albuquerqui New Mexico.
You will not meet more problems than in any other developed country, on CNN they actually had some reports that bedbugs are on the raise in the main populated centers, the reason for this may be globalisation /travelling.

Business: We are speaking here about the most powerful nation on earth in respect of sophistication, weaponary and intelligence. So i ve to chose my words carefully and for my own security, savety and a good share i did some pages on jobs and webdesign tipps, i get a piece of the cake ... Ratings,

Climate: moderate to subtropical
