Fortress at Barka
Tower on the island at Sawadi.
Often during sundays people move to Al Sawadi at the coast where also campers got seen.
Barka is in a hard walking distance over the bhataa flatland (ebene) with wired dried earth and gravelmix near mangrove swamps where again a snake trace got seen in the sands onway to Barka along the big fenced property.
Doves at Barka castle
shells collected at Sawadi beach side over sunday, when people come from the Sharky mountains for leasure time
ATM problem
some distance left to get done ... best over some 3-4 days
the local crows like it hot and then some .... refreshment even at coastal waterbasins
in back the sharp Al Sharky Mountains !
At Sur where people walk without knowing over orange and dark granite, at Muscat often rigidly polished !!
Sur is nice
a very rare seen colorfull composition
Bridge and fence at Sur, in center a Dhau ship
At the beaches of Sur during last day
unfair on the set ...
and remember two third of the volks are from India ....
Tourists at Muscat palace side ...
much polished ...
a reminder to latin americas central squares shoes ...
ATM problem
Route: Barka - Sawadi - Barka - Muscat (polished) - Rustaq - Sur (polished granite marble etc) -
Ibra - Rubi - Al Hassm - Muscat
(taxis, busses/ hitch hiking - Vadis from Rustaq etc)
the Lonely Planet Guide on arab Island was bid too much, blumige Erzaehlungen, done by 4 women and one man, mixing vadis around Rustaq
(Vadi Daikka ... Vadi Saten Satan etc and with very blumige stories, fruehlingsfrisch here and there or what Locals never recomend
to do in Vadi beds and where shells get swept direct into at campsites ... etc)
Then I made a decision to leave that very harsh and dry areas for a more relaxed and easy going, but also
much colder land which is Turky during winter times
In some taxicabs even the taxi driver told me that he would have two wives which was again unfair. Then I quit for TAKEOFF to -
