Mittleres Moelltal sommer 2026

As like last year during late summer two grownup Goshawks over the garden opver days, fantastic, also calling on wings. Guess when the nesting and hedging of youngsters was finished. Impressing birds of prey, and that over the garden like last year.

First half of July Wuerfelnattern got seen in the garden, also one young one from this year. They must have been weatching the fishtsnk over weeks. Snakes which can get very big, specialised fish hunters, and impressing when moving at Lake Balaton near some swamp and reed areas. There the young hide below the wood anleger near B Fuehret. The big Wuerfelnatter there was about nearly two meters and diving the way to the schilfguertel.



Last wednesday, (29. July) a medium sized Aeskulapnatter got caught in the room with Parakeets and had one babybird dead allready. teh other birds were happy and lucky when I put the Natrix (unpoisen) out alive. Need to reduce the hopfen outside at the Aussenvoliere, to get the risk of Askulap attack minimized.

Swallows seem to be mostly all out of their nests and training young for action and migration south. Passing the Sahara is not any task and challenge for them.



Exotic fish and turtles (three babies) are mostly OK, fit and reproducing.



All parakeets are not at all interesting to leave the volieren out to the wilderness surrounding them near the Moellwoods and montains not far from launige Launsberg with its gusthy winds etc
