Muscat bay and area - Oman

from left:
Crows taking a seawater bath at Muscat bay, the Druckerfishs not far, the funny looking Kofferfish and many other fishes to be seen from the pier.
At right: Bonellis eagle, seen on way out on foot beside highways in the corner area hills before Muscat and beach corner with the shallow wadi, they seem to have an established hunting ground there. The Bonellis a widespread but good hidden cosmopolitic Eagle, from Spain over north Africa to India, majestic and quite furiouse even over the highways there.

Pfuhlschnepfe (Bartailed godwit) at Sur beach, a nice couple of Laughing doves (Streptopelia senegalensis) watching me the morning through window for longer and the Yellowlegged gulls (Mittelmeermoewen) through same window. , Regenbrachvogel (Whimbrel, Numenius phaeopus) at cliffs of Muscat bay

From a restaurants veranda taken in superzoom at hight of LUXOR the fish should be a Tilapia specie. Hard to say and did not find in 2 Aquar. Atlanti. Tilapia zilli is as variable an matches distrib range.

At Dec not yet Oriental honeybuzzards appearing as during Feb o19 at Luxor hight
    On way back from Luxor the way to Hurgada a flock of Hoopoes (Wiedehopfe) in a village not far from some canals and security post. On way a Pied kingfisher
    At Hurgada from backside, inland, walking big stretches not getting close to the coast even so some small falcons again. Some streets and settings got changed since feb o19 (before World Children Forum), maybe for security of beach volks. Have never seen so much of nonesense palacestile looking somethings mostly not far from Hurgada, in between km of empty roads with plams on both sides and nightlight effects along same (MID DEC o19)
